Jakarta Environment Dept. commemorates National Waste Care Day by collecting trash in car free day (CFD) on Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin, Central Jakarta. Various communities also participated in this movement.
We provide trash cans to prevent people from littering
Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji informed, his side provided 500 trash bags and distributed it to the participants. Each trash bags were weighed in six posts located in Bundaran HI, in front of FX Senayan, Dukuh Atas, Patung Kuda, Jalan Pamekasan, and near Sarinah building.
"Ministry of Environment and Forestry has planned to free of waste in three months. Jakarta Provincial Government supports that movement," he stated on the location, Sunday (1/21).
Besides collecting waste, his side also educated people for not throwing trash carelessly.
"We provide trash cans to prevent people from littering," he mentioned.
